Redecor is an inspiring and relaxing game that allows you to develop your Interior Decor skills while creating your dream decor. As a Redecor Designer, you get new Design Challenges every day! Read the Design Brief and impress other fellow Redecorators by choosing the best combinations of colors, textures, and materials. Vote for other players’ designs and make an impact on the results. You can enter a Design Challenge as long as it says “Live.” Every Challenge is available for you to design for 48 hours, and you can see the remaining time right under the Challenge title. You can also see the upcoming challenges and the time remaining before they go “Live.” Tap “Enter” to open the Challenge, and you will see the Design Brief that describes the client’s wishes for the room. Tap “Enter” once again to open the room and choose the materials and colors that suit the brief and your taste best! Have fun designing!

“Design Duel” is another type of challenge where you compete against a random player. The chances to win are 50/50.

You get a Duel from a random competitor every 24 hours and you can enter as long as it says “Live”. Duel is available for players for 24 hours, so there is plenty of time for everyone to complete it. After you submit your design, it goes to voting. Within the “Design Duel,” you get the results much faster than in the usual mode – in 2 hours or even faster if it gets enough votes! If you got your results faster than in 2 hours, it means that enough people have voted on it already.

At the moment, it’s not possible to challenge someone in a design duel but the Design Duel challenge is automated randomly. We’re still developing this new feature, so there are improvements and changes coming up very soon – please stay tuned! 🙂 

With Season Pass, you don’t receive all of the rewards instantly, but while climbing up the levels.

The game is divided into 30-day seasons. Every Season has new & unique rewards in terms of cash, gold, and materials, which you can unlock on your way up. You’ve got 30 levels to climb up for 30 days if you want to reach the top (and to collect all the rewards on the way)!

There are two ways to join the race: you can either follow the Free Rewards path OR the Season Pass path by purchasing the seasonal Season Pass. After 30 days, the Season ends and your level is 0 again. You always get to keep all the materials and rewards you’ve collected so far! With Season Pass, you don’t receive all of the rewards instantly, but while climbing up the levels.

We’re always searching for fresh ideas and inspiration for designs and challenges, so if you have a suggestion, feel free to contact us through Support by sending us a reference picture. Every design challenge is handmade by our talented 3D artists, and it takes up to 2 days to create a 3D image from scratch and make it playable for the game.

Out of every image, a 3D model is made, after which our artists change the angle, lighting, and details of each room, so that every single pixel is the same as your original beautiful design. Please note that we might receive a lot of suggestions, so we can’t guarantee your design suggestion will make it to the game but we’ll do our best!

Design a beautiful room – practice makes perfect! Try to follow the Design Brief while designing, as our players often vote for the Design that follows the brief. You can boost your performance by using valuable materials. The value of the room will be added to the voting results in case when 2 or more players obtain the same score. That is when the design with the higher design value is ranked higher. See the next question to learn more about the Design Value!

You can submit 2 different designs for every challenge: Tap on the “Completed” tab on top of the screen, right next to the “Challenges” section. Tap on the design you wish to redo. A tab with more information will open. Tap on the orange “Create a Redesign” button. You will only be able to create a redesign if your first design for that specific challenge is still in the “Voting” status. Once the challenge has ended, unfortunately, there will be no option to redesign any longer. We’d like to wish you fun redesigning!

Once the Design is submitted, you cannot edit it anymore.

When you submit your design, it is assigned to a group of 9 other designs and goes to voting. During the voting, it is randomly paired with other designs from your group only. Every time it is paired with a different design from your group. 

Our ratings are based only on other players’ votes, and the final ranking gets decided by the amount of stars each design has obtained. In case two designs get the same score, the player with a higher design value (=how much Cash and Gold they’ve used for the materials) gets ranked higher.

Design Value means the value of Cash and Gold used in the room. Once you submit your design, you will get the same amount of XP (experience points).

Star Tokens are used to unlock new materials. This can be achieved by either purchasing boxes in the shop or unlocking new materials directly from a specific collection. Star Tokens can be either purchased from the shop or collected by completing challenges. The amount of Star Tokens earned from challenges is determined by the voting rating. You will get as many Star Tokens as the number of Stars you received for your design.

You can unlock new materials by completing challenges and climbing up Season levels. You can also unlock new items by purchasing “Decor Boxes” with Stars. Also, check the “Daily Deals”. Special offers on boxes are available every day!

  4. Tap on “Unlock more options” from the collection you like
  5. Have fun designing!

Gold Coins and Cash are used exclusively to purchase already unlocked materials in the game. The materials you purchase in Redecor cost either Gold Coins or Cash. You can see the prices of the materials below the material thumbnail. By choosing the material and tapping “buy”, which appears on the material thumbnail, you can purchase 5 items of the chosen material, and they will appear in your inventory. If you are running low on cash, you can always convert your Gold Coins to Cash. Once you’ve used all your Gold Coins and Cash, you can buy more Gold and Cash from the shop. You’ll also receive more Gold Coins and Cash as rewards for voting and submitting your designs. The higher you rank, the bigger the prize!

You can use each purchased material five times. The blue number in the corner of the material icon displays how many items you’ve got before that material disappears from your inventory.

XP stands for Experience Points. By collecting XP, you can level up in the game and collect rewards. It is possible to either follow the Free Rewards Path or join the Season Pass Reward path. Once you submit the design, you will receive the same amount of XP as the amount of Cash and Gold you used for the room.

To share your Designs, tap on the ‘Share’ button in the top left corner of the submitted design. If you’re sharing your designs on Instagram, remember to tag @redecorgame and #redecorgame on your posts – you might get featured!

When you’re designing a room, tags will remain on the materials you haven’t purchased yet. While decorating, you can have up to two unpurchased materials at the same time. If you place more than two items with the dollar tag on, one of the unpurchased items will disappear from the room. Once you purchase a material, it will appear in your inventory. Make sure to buy all of the materials you want to use to submit the Challenge.

Podium is our exciting new feature that helps you keep track of your wins. Please make sure Redecor is updated to the latest version to have this feature available! You’ll get +1 to your podium when you win a design duel and if you get ranked as one of the top 3 contenders in a classic challenge! We wish you good luck and lots of Podium wins!

You can update your profile information by following these instructions:

  1. Tap on the profile icon.
  2. Tap on the gear icon. You can find it in the top left corner of your screen.

To edit your name: Tap right under “Player name”.
To edit your profile picture: Tap on the picture with the pencil icon.
To edit your bio: Tap on “Type in short bio”, right under “Bio”.

Season Pass Questions

Redecor is divided into monthly seasons. At the beginning of every month, a new Season begins. 

There is a time indicator until the start of the next Season on top of the Season Pass page. The new Season starts for all the players simultaneously, so there is always a common starting and ending date of the Season for all the players.

The Season Pass purchase isn’t automated, so there is no such thing as a Season Pass subscription. When the Season ends, your monthly pass expires, so you have to purchase a new Season Pass if you want access to the new exclusive rewards and challenges. Each Season Pass should be purchased separately.

Yes, you do! If you, for example, are on level 10 when you purchase the Season Pass, you’ll get all the Season Pass rewards from level 1 until level 10. Of course, you’ll have access to the upcoming Season Pass Rewards as well!

Don’t worry – you will not lose any Gold Coins, Stars, Items, or Cash. The only thing that will change is that your level will go back to 0, and you will have to purchase the new Season Pass if you want access to the latest exclusive rewards and challenges 🙂

Unfortunately, at the moment, it is not possible to access previous seasons’ materials.

Season Pass purchase includes not only unique rewards and materials but also several Season Pass-themed challenges, which include valuable information, tips, and educational content about the Season Pass theme. These Season Pass challenges are only available for Season Pass holders.

The Season Pass Quests are special assignments that can be completed during a particular Season. Often they include tasks related to the Season’s theme.

Tech issues

The most common reason why the app doesn’t work is a weak Internet connection. Please make sure your device is connected to the Internet. If this is not the case, try closing and reopening the app. Another possible reason is that you have an old version of the game. You can easily update Redecor from App Store / Google Play. If the problem persists, please contact us via email: support@redecor.com.

The game will be synced on all of your Apple iOS devices if you are using the same Game Center account. You can also sync the game on multiple devices through Facebook. Right now, we have these two methods for the sync-up, but we keep working and improving on these processes all the time.

No worries! If your game was backed up by linking it inside the game, you may be able to recover it using the steps below:

If your original game was linked to your Facebook:

Your account data is either on Facebook OR on your device ID. If your Facebook sign-in was OFF when you downloaded the game and you turned it ON while playing, your account data should be on your device ID. In that case, you can try to set the Facebook sign-in OFF again and reinstall the app to see if the account reverts. 

The same goes the other way around: if your data is saved via Facebook, and you’ve turned it off while playing, the new update starts to save the data on your device ID. In that case, try to reinstall the app while your Facebook sign-in is turned ON.

If your original game was linked via Game Center or your Apple ID:

If your Game Center was OFF when you downloaded the game and you turned it ON while playing, your account data should be on your device ID. In that case, you can try to set the Game Center OFF again and reinstall the app to see if the account reverts. The same goes the other way around: if your data is saved via Game Center and you’ve turned it off while playing, the new update starts to save the data on your device ID. In that case, try to reinstall the app while your Game Center is turned ON.

Please do not delete and reinstall the app if it’s not necessary. In case of a temporary glitch/error, closing and reopening the app and waiting for the app to fix itself is usually the best option. To minimize the possibility of losing your account, we strongly recommend playing with either the Game Center or Facebook being switched ON. Connect your game to the Game Center or Facebook from the game settings in the app. This also allows you to play on multiple devices using the same account.
